Centre of Excellence, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CE-CPEC) is a project of Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad. The Project is providing policy based research guidance to Federal and Provincial Governments and implementers of CPEC projects to enable an efficient, coordinated implementation, with maximum benefit to both economies and society at large. Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the post of Executive Director on contractual basis for a Period of two (02) years. Cdteria a) Qualification and Experience Ph.D or equivalent degree from a reputed local orforeign university. 15-years of senior management experience in government, development sector or in international organizations. Experience in setting up new institutions, preferably Think Tanks and managing its efficiencies in a modern, challenging environment would bean added advantage. • Higher degree of motivation and discipline • Profound record of success and accomplishment • Capability and skills as Team leader. b)Age Maximum 58 years at the time of application c) Du ration Initial appointment on contract for two years extendable on satisfactory performance, till completion of the project. d) Responsibility • Provide an effective leadership to this multifaceted initiative of national importance of providing policy support and augmentation of governance capacity to steer an ambitious regional integration plan with an eye on inclusive development. supervise all activities related to the project as per its scope and budget i.e., Manage targets / KPI‘ s. progress deviation and impact assessment and recommendations, risk alerts, change management and stakeholder communication. • Financial and administrative management of the Project.
