As a federal enterprise, the Deutsche Gesellschaft flit' Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. The GIZ Labour Standards Programme (LSP) focuses on improved cooperation in the areas of labour inspection, prevention, rehabilitation and compensation. Furthermore, an interlocking of inspections and industrial safety management systems is planned. Compliance with labour and environmental standards bring improvements in the productivity and quality of manufacturing and is therefore closely related to the competitiveness of companies. An effective labour inspectorate, monitoring the industry's compliance with labour standards. therefore contributes to decent work in the long term and thus enhances income opportunities and living conditions. The programme is seeking suitable candidates for the following position for its office in Lahore;

Job title: Policy Advisor Environmental Standards (Reference No. LSP 2019/016)

Qualifications and Experience: • Sixteen years (16) qualification in Social Science, Econom-ics, Law, Business Administration. Environmental or Textile or Garment Engineering from a reputed university or similar qualification of a relevant field • At least 5 years of working experience; of which 3 years on policy development and dialogue or consultancy: preferably on environmental standards in the textile and garment industry • Profound knowledge on environmental standards (e.g. environmental compliance. corporate social responsibility, waste management. wastewater treatment) and triparty (cooperation management between the public sector, employers' associations and workers' associations) • Experience in advising public sector decision makers and establishing a multi-stakeholder dialogue

Job title: Technical Advisor Capacity Development (Reference No. LSP 2019/017)

Qualifications and Experience: • Sixteen years (16) education in Environmental or Industrial or Textile or Garment Engineering. Economics or Business Administration from a reputed university or similar qualifica-tion of a relevant field • At least 5 years of working experience; of which 3 years on capacity development/training & development, preferably in the textile and garment industry • Proven experiences in working with different stakeholder groups like private sector (unskilled worker to top-manage-ment level of organizations), and decision makers • Familiar with training & development, organizational develop-ment and monitoring & evaluation systems and performance measurement approaches

Job title: Technical Advisor Energy Efficiency (Reference No. LSP 2019/018)

Qualifications and Experience: • Sixteen years (1 6) qualification in Energy Management, Environmental or Textile or Industrial Engineering or Business Administration from a reputed university or similar qualifica-tion of a relevant field • At least 5 years of working experience; of which 3 years on energy efficiency in the industry, preferably in the textile and garment industry • Proven experiences in working with different stakeholder groups like private sector (unskilled worker to top-manage-ment level of organizations), and decision makers

Job title: Technical Advisor Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) (Reference No. LSP 2019/019)

Qualifications and Experience: • Sixteen years (16) qualification in Environmental or Textile or Garment Engineering, Economics or Business Administration from a reputed university or similar qualification of a relevant field • At least 5 years of working experience; of which 3 years on Corporate Social Responsibility in the industry, preferably in the textile and garment industry • Proven experiences in working with different stakeholder groups like private sector (unskilled worker to top-manage-ment level of organizations), and decision makers
