JOB OPENING FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (BDO) The National University of Sciences & Technology is seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our Islamabad campus. The BDO will lead NUST's business strategy for research, innovation and entrepreneurial endeavours. including the National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), Medical Devices Development Centre (MDDC), NUST Teaching & Research Hospital (NTH) and others.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

? Establishing and managing strategic business development partnerships, and strategic frameworks for capitalising on identified opportunities and approaching new prospects. ? Strategic management and operations of NSTP Angel Investment Network and NSTP Venture Capital Fund. ? Financial and business management of NSTP Special Economic Zone (SEZ). ? Financial and business development for NSTP, MDDC and NTH. ? Strategic management of NUST Holdings Pvt Ltd (NHL) investment portfolio and equity investments in spin off and subsidiaries, as well as prospecting new businesses. ? Working closely with NUST's senior management and stakeholders in overall strategy formulation and alignment for a unified direction. ? Conducting regular performance. marketing and data-driven competitive analyses of high-value investment projects in order to identify opportunities and avail insights for strategic decision-making.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

? Masters degree in Business Administration, Chartered Accountancy or a related field. ? 10-15 years' relevant experience with at least 5 years in a senior management role, commensurating the job responsibilities. ? Experience in establishing, enforcing and monitoring policies and procedures for efficient and smooth operations. ? Age: 35-45 years

REQUIRED SKILLSET

? Strong understanding of business development strategies and planning. ? Excellent executive-level leadership, communication and relationship management skills. ? Demonstrated analytical, operational and project management skills. ? Superior people skills and ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
