HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION PAKISTAN (Call for Applications Recognition & Funding of National Research Journals for 2020-21 )
To raise the quality of Pakistan Based Research Journals and to bring them at par with international best standards, a major policy shift towards a more transparent, rigorous and focused system for accreditation, monitoring, capacity building and funding of research journals has been made by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Salient features of the Revised Policy to be implemented from July 2020 are given in "Journals and Publications Policy Document" available at www.hec.gov.pk/site/journals
Online applications for Recognition and Funding of all Existing and Fresh Eligible Pakistani Research Journals are invited under the Revised Policy for Year 2020-21. All the existing Pakistan Based Research Journals irrespective of their existing category will have to apply afresh through online portal.
I How to Apply

I0› Applications should be submitted through online application system at rjsonline.hec.gov.pk and must include all documentary evidence as specified. All new/emerging journals as well as already HEC Recognized Research Journals may apply for accreditation/recognition and funding. Editors will be informed of the decision and the final status will be made available on https://hjrs.hec.gov.pk/
Deadline for application submission is April 20, 2020. Applications received other than the online portal or after the deadline will not be entertained.
