Contech International, a healthcare researchlmanagement organization, is supporting this public health work PHE, through Contech, are looking to recruit a Public Health Advisor of expert level In Peshawar (Pakistan) on full-time basis. The advisor will be supporting the public health work towards International Health Regulations (IHR-2007) compliance in Pakistan through implementation of Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response.Duration of contract will be 12 months with possibility of extension based on performance of the incumbent. Applications are invited for following position Public Health Advisor (Expert Level, Full Time) • Post.graduate degree, preferably MSc in Public Health, Epidemiology, or allied discipline or equivalent experience/education. • Preferable completion of Field Epidemiology Training Programme or equivalent. • Experience in epidemiology for outbreak investigations, performing analytical epidemiology, complex and/or sensitive health data analyses, interpreting and evaluating epidemiological data, and statistical analyses for research purposes. • Demonstrable experience of public health, health protection or epidemiology. • Knowledge of principles and practice of surveillance. • Knowledge of health system in Pakistan, and roles and responsibilities within it. •Awareness of relevant infectious disease epidemiology, and information flows In the surveillance systems in Pakistan including non-health systems. • Experience of effective line management. • Understanding of information governance. Suitable publication record (3+ papers including 1+ first author) ,e Good oral, written communication and presentation skills. ,• Exposure to and experience of working in multicultural/multiethnic environments. 1• Total of 01 position for placement in Peshawar with travel across locations.
