Job Duties:
He/ She will be responsible to the deputy Commandant/ Deputy Chief Ordnance Officer for the efficient and economical functioning of the sub depot under his/her command.
(i) Supervise and control the work of stock control and storage divisions of the sub depot and will ensure that various components of these divisions are working efficiently and economically.
(ii) Ensure that all personnel working under him/her are allotted definite duties and that they are conversant with the rules, regulations procedures etc relating to their duties. The duties must be prominently displayed on or near the table of worker.
(iii) Visit each office and storehouse of his/her sub depot as often as possible and will keep himself conversant with the activities going on therein. He/ She will investigate bottlenecks and failures and suggest remedial measures, where necessary.
(iv) Ensure that necessary measures are taken for the security of document, stores and buildings especially those in which arms, ammunition or important and attractive items are stored , and bring any defects to the notice of the Deputy Commandant/ Deputy Chief Ordnance Officer and other officers concerned.

Qualification/Experience required:
Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a University recognized by HEC. EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years post qualification experience in Store Management.
