National Academy of Higher Education
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is searching for dynamic and visionary candidates for the position of the Founding Rector of the newly established National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE). The Rector is the Chief Executive of the new institution, and will report a Governing Board chaired by the Chairman HEC. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of responsibilities and deliverables of this position.

Qualifications
• Advanced degree from a recognised leading international university (PhD preferred) • Candidates with advanced qualifications in Education, Management, or HRM are encouraged to apply.
Experience
Demonstrable evidence of excellence and achievement in the key areas of responsibility, including: • A minimum of 10 years of academic experience, preferably in institutional development, capacity building and training, at national and international levels. • Knowledge and experience of design, development ond management of new institutions. • Demonstrated evidence of .miliarity with the major capacity development challenges in higher education e.g., promotion of excellence and productivity in teaching, research and academic governance, promotion of entrepreneurship, networking, advocacy, fundraising, financial management and human resource development.
