TECHNICAL ADVISOR (MP-I)
Ministry of Science and Technology requires the services of a Technical Advisor to assist and advise the Federal Minister for Science and Technology on science, innovation and techno economic issues. The prescribed qualification, experience, age limit. eligibility criteria and other terms of appointment are given as under:
CRITERIA:
Minimum Master's degree in Applied/Life Science/Engineering Sciences from nationally/internationally reputed/HEC recognized Universities. Candidates with Doctoral degree from Universities of repute will be given preference. Minimum 12 years' experience in academic and/or startup entities with national and/or international organizations in the field of scientific innovation and technology development. Evidence of impactful scientific achievement especially in technology entrepreneurship ecosystem. Candidates with greater citable research publications and patents with commercial relevance will be given preference. Age limit: 40 years to 62 years.
EMOLUMENTS:
MP-I package along with all other benefits/facilities admissible as per rules. In case of selection, the candidate working in Government Department or Autonomous or Semi-Autonomous Body will have to seek retirement before joining the assignment.
TENURE:
The selected candidate shall be appointed for an initial term of two (02) years, with possibility of extension as per the procedure in vogue.
PRE-MATURE TERMINATION:
The contract of Technical Advisor may be terminated by giving one month's notice on either side or payment of one month's basic pay in lieu of thereof. The applications are required to be submitted on the given format:
