SITUATION VACANT
1. The Ministry of National Food Security & Research requires the services of highly qualified, dynamic, trained and forward looking agriculture Economist for the post of Director General of Agriculture Policy Institute (API) on contract basis fora period of two years. The candidate should be capable of organizing and leading this apex institution to accomplish its present and emerging goals & targets. The required qualification and experience are as under:-
Designation and 135 of the Post (s)
Director General (BS-21) on Contract Basis
i. Ph.D in Agriculture Economics/Economics from a University recognized by the HEC. ii. 18 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF Agriculture Policy Planning and Analysis. OR i. M.Phill in Agriculture Economics/Economics from a University recognized by the HEC. ii. 20 years experience of Agriculture Policy Planning and Analysis
OR i. 2nd Class or Grade "C" Master's degree in Agriculture Economics/ Economics or equivalent qualification from a University recognized bythe HEC. ii. 22 years experience of Agriculture Policy Planning and Analysis.

2. The Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Government of Pakistan, offers initial pay of BS-21 and the remaining terms and conditions of contract appointment will be governed under Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973 and the rules made there under, as amended from time to time.
