FACULTY POSITIONS VACANT
The BOG of SZIC invites Applications (On prescribed Application Form) for various Permanent Positions in the Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of Karachi, Karachi on the Terms & Conditions given below:
1. PROFESSOR (BS-21) Islamic Studies/Arabic Language
Qualification: Ph.D in Islamic Studies /Arabic Language Experience: Ph.D from an HEC recognized Institute in the relevant field. Fifteen Years Teaching/Research Experience in HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National/International Organization. OR 10 Years Post-Ph.D Teaching/Research Experience in a recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National/International Organization. Fifteen Publications with at least Five Research Publications in HEC recognized Journals during Last Five Years
2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (BS-20) Islamic Studies/Arabic Language
Qualification:
Ph.D in Islamic Studies / Arabic Language Experience: Ph.D from an HEC recognized Institute in the relevant field. Ten Years Teaching/Research Experience in HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National/International Organization. Ten Publications with at least Four Research Publications in NEC recognized Journals during Last Five Years
Six Copies of Applications are required to be submitted on prescribed Application Form available in the Office of Superintendent (Establishment), 2nd Floor, SZIC, University of Karachi, Karachi OR may be downloaded from the Website: www.szic.edu.pk on Payment of Rs. 3,000/-, payable at the Time of Submission of Form through Pay Order drawn in favour of Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, Karachi. The Applications should reach at the given address by or before March 15, 2019. In case of Pakistani National/s serving/residing abroad is March 22, 2019.Candidates already serving in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan, must apply through Proper Channel. The Number of Post/s shall be considered according to available Budget Position at the Time of Selection Board.
