One of the largest banks of the country is inviting applications against the following position from professionals with proven track record and capacity to perform as a catalyst for transformation in a challenging environment in the area of Corporate & Investment Banking. The individuals who fulfill the below-mentioned basic eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
HEAD- BUSINESS STRATEGY & ANALYTICS WING BASIC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Academic / Professional Qualification: • Minimum Graduation / B.Com / BSC / BE / BBA / MBA from a reputed University / Institute (recognized by HEC) • Any diploma or certification in Banking will be an advantage Experience: 12 years in the Banking industry out of which minimum 05 years in analytics, business intelligence and risk management Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required: • Superior strategy, analytical, financial and quantitative analysis skills • Sound understanding of products & services offered in Corporate & Investment Banking • Thorough understanding of the needs of local and regional corporate client base Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities: • To assist Divisional Head - Strategy & Control Division in preparation of annual budget targets and delivering Business reporting on weekly basis through meaningful analysis and insights to address any challenge and make recommendations for future actions • To ensure submission for accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial reporting as well as consolidation and reporting of all business lines pertaining to CIBG • To plan and manage strategic initiatives and client monitoring across all of CIBG's offices and teams by adding value to the overall Business Strategy of the Group • To coordinate with Sector Analysis Department in providing direction to CIBG business lines on pan-Pakistan basis through provision of information about behaviors, trends and segments of the customer base • To coordinate with Credit Review & Monitoring Wing in the development, oversight and evaluation of analytical strategies with respect to different sector market and to monitor performance, and to ensure that analytical practice is effective and efficient • To implement system - generated reports software's to expert analytical rigor and best practices to define outcome measures, improve prioritization, increase agility in decisions, improve ability to evaluate progress towards business outcomes and strategic goals • To monitor business targets up till RM level, account wise, region wise on monthly basis for onward submission to senior management of the Group • To ensure timely training of Officers / Executives in the team to improve their professional capabilities and to provide them with the necessary office equipment's to get their jobs done efficiently • To maintain Bank's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators • To drive the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices within the function; taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement • Any other responsibility assigned from time to time by the Group Chief and / or Divisional Head

Employment Type: The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management.
