APPOINTMENT AS CEO/PRESIDENT OF THE BANK OF PUNJAB

Government of the Punjab is seeking a strong, self-driven, highly committed, motivated energetic and career.oriented person of professional excellence as President/CEO of the Bank of Punjab who shall be responsible for the overall direction and administration of the Bank in line with the policy directives of the Board of Directors; ensuring the Bank's success and gearing all aspects of the Bank's activities towards deriving maximum value in the best interest of shareholders, customers, employees, and the public. Those having strong background in banking and inter-personal skills may apply stating qualifications and experience and besides many broad elements to be assessed for appointment of President/CEO of the Bank as prescribed in the Fit & Proper Test circulated by State Bank of Pakistan (http://www.sbp.orq.pkibprd12007/Encl-FPT-C4.pdf) The candidate must have the following qualification and experience: a. Must be a career banker having at least 5 years of experience at senior level as EVP and above or equivalent i.e. Group Head of Financial/Business Line in a bank and possess expertise and skill set to undertake responsibilities of the position effectively and prudently. b. Preferably be between 40 to 65 years of age. c. Should have minimum qualification of graduation or equivalent in the discipline of banking, finance, economics, business administration and related fields.
It will be a contract appointment for a period of upto 5 years. Salary package will be negotiable I market based. The final appointment of the President shall be subject to the clearance from SBP.
