Balochistan Forest and Wildlife Department is implementing a PSDP funded project titled Develpment of Forest Management Information System for REDD + Readliness in Balochistan".
The overall objective of this project is to develop a provincial forest management information system as part of REDD + readliness preparation in Balochistan to get access to result based payments from international financing windows and compliance/private carbon market mechanism from World Bank. To support the implication of field activities and manage financial records, a fully dedicated manpower is required for this project who will work under the guidance of the Project Director to assist the project activities. Balochistan Forest and Wildlife Department, therefore, requires following temporary professional and technical staff equipped with the required knowledge and expertise to implement this project.
1. GIS Specialist (BPS-18)
Post-graduate degree in GIS or natural sciences, forestry Geography, Engineering or Agriculture with specialization in GIS and Remote sensing.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in handing GISRS assignment.

2. Information Management Specialist (BPS-18)
Hold at least Master Degree preferably in Computer Sciences/ Management Sciences /GISNIS. At least 2 year of practical experience of GIS tools and database development He/She should have good writing skills, survey techniques shills, data analysis, preparation and report writing,

3. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (BPS-18)
Master Degree in Social Sciences or Agriculture/Forestry or NRM 26-02-2019 with at least 2 years of professional experience in land use planning (10:00 am)

and NRM, Experience in the developing participatory FMIS land use planning would be an advantage. Good organizational Management and Technical Skills with track record of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or community based projects.
The candidate should possess a Master's degree preferable in Management Sciences (MBA, B.Com) with minimum 2 years of experience in financial management of GoP/NGOs or development assistance work; Knowledge of coimputers, including basis hardware maintenance, Expertise in project formulation and implementation will be an added advantage. Master/Bachlor degree in ManagementlEnvironmentat/Foresty Sciences or any other related discipline preferably with some knowledge of REDD++ Must be literate (can read and write Urdu, calculate expendiure etc). Age between 18-30 years and in best physical & mental health. Knowledge of local languages. Preference will be given higher literacy and experience.
