PESCO is a Public Limited Company mandated under its License to provide electricity to its valuable customers.
Applications are invited for recruitment of suitable candidates having domicile / residing in Districts under the
jurisdiction of PESCO to fill the following positions on one year contract basis. All the quotas such as Women,
Disabledand Minority etc. will be observed as per Govt. policy.

Terms and Conditions
1. General age relaxation has already been included in the age mentioned against each category. No
further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except for candidates belonging to
scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed 3 years relaxation and for Disabled person 10 years
relaxation in upper age limit.
2. Only qualified and eligible candidate will be allowed to appear in Written Test / Skill Test / Physical
Test / Interview. Only shortlisted candidates falling within merit as per the provisions of applicable
Recruitment Policy will be called for Written Test / Skill Test / Physical Test / Interview.
3. Selected candidate can be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of PESCO as per requirement of
the Company.
4. The recruitment of ALM (as defined in the PEPCO Office Order No.3569-91/GM
(HR)/PEPCO/D(A) dated 05.04.2019) will initially involve screening of Physical Parameters, those
fulfilling Physical Parameters will undergo Skill Test, those who qualify Skill Test by securing
minimum 50% marks will be called for Physical Test and finally those who qualify the Physical Test
by securing minimum 50% marks will be called for Interview.
5. The ALMs at Serial No.4 will be initially recruited / appointed in BPS-05 on contract and will be
considered for BPS-07 after 2 years satisfactory performance.
6. Applications submitted by hand or through post to PESCO will not be entertained / processed. All

7. Original documents along with one set of attested photocopies must be presented by the candidate at
the time of interview.

9. Candidate applying only on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal www.stepnex.org.pk or
through paper-based application available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk on the address
P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar will be considered for short listing.
10. Serving candidates who are Government Servants or have completed 2 years continuous
Government service on the closing date of applications are advised to apply through proper
channel.10 years age relaxation up to the age of 55 is allowed in this case. Candidates will have to
provide departmental No Objection Certificate clearly mentioning date of appointment and nature of
employment i.e. Regular, Contract etc. at the time of interview.
11. PESCO reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
12. No TA/DA will be paid for Written Test / Skill Test / Physical Test / Interview.
13. Dismissed / screened out employees of any organization or having criminal record are not eligible
for employment in PESCO.
14. Concealment or mis-representation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of a candidate.
15. Candidates applying against Disabled Quota must provide Disability Certificate from Assessment
Board declaring him / her fit for the job applied for from City / District / Provincial Council for
Rehabilitation of Disabled Person.
16. Children of those PESCO employees who have been declared incapacitated for further service by
WAPDA medical board, died after retirement, retired and serving are eligible to apply.
17. Any litigation pertaining to recruitment process will be dealt by STEPNEX at its own without any
liability whatsoever for PESCO.
How to Apply
i. STEPNEX Online Application Portal is available on the address www.stepnex.org.pk. Paper-based
application is available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk for download.
ii. 50% of the test fee i.e. Rs.77/- will be borne by PESCO. Hence the candidates are required
to deposit only 50% of the test fee i.e. Rs.76/-. Candidate shall submit applications on the
STEPNEX Online Application Portal or through paper-based application available on STEPNEX
website www.stepnex.org.pk on the address P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar, duly
filled in along with test fee of Rs.76/- in favor of STEPNEX, within 15 days of publication of
this advertisement.
iii. Separate Fee will be charged in case of applying for more than one post. Separate application
on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal is required to be submitted for each post.
iv. No application shall be entertained at PESCO HQ, therefore, applicants are advised to apply directly
to STEPNEX on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal or through paper-based application
available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk on the address P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar
Cantt, Peshawar.
v. Test fee shall be paid on prescribed bank challan placed on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal
for download from the address www.stepnex.org.pk. Deposit Fee is not refundable and nontransferable.
vi. Applications submitted by hand or through post to PESCO will not be entertained / processed. All
applicants must apply on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal www.stepnex.org.pk or through
paper-based application available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk on the address
P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar.
vii. Roll No. Slip containing the information regarding test center, timings and test date shall be
separately sent directly to candidates by STEPNEX at least 1 week before the test on the emails
provided by the candidates on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal or through post for paperbased application on the address provided by the candidate on his/her paper-based application.
viii. Candidates can also download their Roll No. Slip from the STEPNEX Online Application Portal.
ix. Only those candidates who have completed their requisite degree / certificates are eligible to apply.
Candidates to whom final transcript has not been issued or result awaited shall not be considered.

Instructions on How to Applyfor applicants under 20% Employee Children Quota
1. STEPNEX Online Application Portal is available on the address www.stepnex.org.pk. Paper-based
application is available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk for download.
2. 50% of the test fee i.e. Rs.77/- will be borne by PESCO. Hence the candidates are required
to deposit only 50% of the test fee i.e. Rs.76/-. Candidate shall submit applications on the
STEPNEX Online Application Portal or through paper-based application available on STEPNEX
website www.stepnex.org.pk on the address P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar, duly
filled in along with test fee of Rs.76/- in favor of STEPNEX, within 15 days of publication of
this advertisement.
3. Only PESCO Employee’s Children applying on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal available
on the address www.stepnex.org.pk or through paper-based application available on STEPNEX
website www.stepnex.org.pk on the address P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar will be
considered for induction / short-listing under 20% Employee’s Children Quota.
4. Children of those PESCO employees have been declared incapacitated for further service by
WAPDA medical board, who died after retirement, retired and serving are eligible to apply.
5. Candidates applying under 20% employee Children Quota must ensure the following:
a. To provide all relevant documents mentioned in the STEPNEX Online Application Portal
or through paper-based application available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk on
the address P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar along with Employee’s
Children Proforma duly signed by the concerned XEN/SE along with CNIC of father /
mother at the time of interview.
b. They must also provide an Affidavit (on Non-judicial Stamp paper) to the effect that none
of their brothers / sisters or Widow Mother is employed in WAPDA / PESCO against
Employees Children Quota and that he/she is the real son / daughter of deceased / retired
/ serving employee. Applications of employee’s children whose proforma have not
been signed by the concerned XEN / SE will not be entertained.
c. Candidate applying for more than one post under 20% employee children quota should
submit separate application for each post on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal or
through paper-based application available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk on
the address P.O. Box 263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar.
d. Those applicants who have applied under Direct / 20% Employee Children Quota
against any of above referred posts in the past to any PESCO office should submit
fresh applicationon the STEPNEX Online Application Portal or through paper-based
application available on STEPNEX website www.stepnex.org.pk on the address P.O. Box
263, G.P.O Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar.
e. Applications submitted in the past to any of PESCO office under Direct / 20%
Employees Children Quota posts shall not be considered as valid after publication of
this advertisement.
6. Candidates applying for the posts under 20% Employee Children Quota should apply directly to
STEPNEX on the STEPNEX Online Application Portal or through paper-based application
