Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individuals to fill the following posts where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit
S. NO. 1 Sr. Joint Director Flight Standards (Operations Engineer) (EG-06) (01 Position on Merit) Contract: 02 years (Renewable) Pay Scale: 79, 170-7, 917-237.510 Salary: Rs. 229,2751- per month (Negotiable) QUALIFICATION • BS/BE in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Avionics/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Communications from HEC Recognized University/Institute with at least 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA EXPERIENCE • Minimum 15 years including the experience of: i) Reviewing Operations Mass & Balance Program Document ii) Assessment of Aircraft Take-off Gross Weight and its limitations according to. Airfield conditions iii) Reviewing Operations Specifications of Operators for suitability of authorized Airfield in accordance with aircraft performance iv) Inspections and reviewing of Flight Crew Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures of Operations v) Reviewing of Minimum Equipment list and its amendments vi) Assessment of routes to various destinations based on Aircraft Performance and terrain limitations SKILLS • • • • • • Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs and other applicable regulations Ability to check the Flight Planning based on loading, fuel consumption and engine performance Ability to check Mass & Center of Gravity Computations of Aircraft including fuel load distribution Ability to assess the capabilities of Aircraft to comply with performance/limitations Well versed with IT & MS Office application Knowledge of Safety Management System AGE • Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations) S. NO. 2 Assitant Director Flight Standards (Operations Engineer) (EG-01) (01 Position on Merit) Pay Scale: 42,630 - 4,263 - 127.890 Monthly Salary: Rs. 111,418/- approx. QUALIFICATION • BS/BE in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Avionics/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Communications from HEC Recognized University/Institute with at least 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA AGE • Maximum 28 years Application Procedure:

Terms of Reference i) Age Relaxation will be allowed to the applicants as per the criteria mentioned on CAA Website for the post mentioned at Sr. No. 2 only. ii) Shortlisted candidates for the post mentioned at Sr. No. 2 will have to pay Rs. 250/ i.e. 50% as testing charges for the written test for-which intimation will be given beforehand. iii) Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete application shall not be considered. iv) Test/Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta (or any other city) for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates). v) The candidates to be called for an interview have to produce original documents for necessary verification when appearing for the interview. vi) No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview. vii) Appointment will be subject to CAA's medical fitness standards. viii) Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of CAA. ix) Government servants/employees of autonomous bodies/corporations will be required to submit NOC from current employer before the interview. x) Incorrect information and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified. xi) In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect/fake/bogus at any stage, the services of selected candidate will be terminated immediately and he/she will not be considered for any job at CAA in the future.
